An independent fee-only wealth advisor based in Rome.
AHWA — Al Hunaiti Wealth Advisory — is the practice I founded after enrolling with the Italian Albo Unico dei Consulenti Finanziari (OCF) in the Independent Financial Advisors section. As an OCF Autonomous Advisor, I am prohibited by Italian law from receiving any commission, retrocession or rebate from banks, fund houses or insurance companies. I am paid exclusively by my clients.
I serve families and entrepreneurs whose wealth crosses Italy, Europe, and the Arab world — typically with complex cross-border situations and a clear set of values they want their portfolios to reflect.
Three principles, all three together.
Independent by law
Paid by the client. Only by the client. The OCF Autonomous section forbids commission-based compensation from banks, fund houses or insurance companies. The fee comes from one place: the person sitting across from me.
Values as default, not as upsell
Every strategy starts with a screening of the client's values — environmental, sectoral, religious, family-specific. ESG is not a premium option here. It's the starting point.
Radical transparency
You know exactly what's in your portfolio, why it's there, and what you're paying for each component. No hidden costs. No silent conflicts. No complexity that makes you feel small.
Working across three languages and three cultures.
I work fluently in Italian, English, and Arabic. The full website is in Italian (ahwa.it) — that's the primary market AHWA serves today. For international clients and prospects, this English page is a starting point: feel free to reach out directly, and we'll work in English from there.
For Arabic-speaking clients in the MENA region or Italian residents from the Arab world, an Arabic landing page is also available (العربية).
Four ways to start working together.
Cross-Border Wealth Audit — A strategic session and written report covering your full patrimony. I find hidden inefficiencies, map your value constraints, and deliver an actionable plan. For those wanting an independent map before making any move.
Strategic Brief — A second opinion on a proposal you've received: a mandate, a life policy, a real estate operation, an investment. Independent reading, attention points, alternatives. For those about to sign something important and wanting a third-party view.
Family CFO — Continuous — A long-term wealth advisor of reference. Coordinated asset allocation, monitoring of value constraints, quarterly reporting, coordination with your other professionals. For families and entrepreneurs seeking a long-term, fee-only, independent advisor.
Family CFO — Stewardship — Same scope as Family CFO Continuous, with fixed annual fees instead of AUM-based pricing. For HNW clients who prefer alignment with the work, not with performance.
Transparent fees, discussed openly in the first call. No commissions from suppliers. No hidden costs. No surprises.
